Blue Ridge Lawn Care offers a complete line of lawn and landscape maintenance. From mowing to mulching, we can keep your grounds looking their best.

  • Mowing and trimming.
  • Regular mowing helps keep your lawn healthy. We recommend mowing once a week, except during times of drought or extremely hot weather. Mowing typically includes string trimming around buildings, trees, etc. and cleaning clippings from sidewalks, driveways, and porches.
  • Shrub and hedge trimming.
  • Keep hedges and shrubs neat and healthy by trimming them.
  • Leaf and debris cleanup.
  • Gutter cleaning.
  • Fertilizing.
  • Grass needs nutrients to stay green and healthy. We can help you choose and carry out the fertilizing option that best meets your needs. Soil PH balance is important too. A proper soil PH balance lets the grass use the nutrients in the soil. Blue Ridge Lawn Care can test and amend your soil to achieve the PH balance that will keep your lawn healthy.
  • Overseeding.
  • Overseeding is simply spreading grass seed over the existing grass. It is especially helpful in areas where the grass is thin. Overseeding works best when its done right after aerating; when its easier for the new seeds to reach bare soil and germinate.
  • Mulching.
  • Mulching is one of the best things you can do for your trees, shrubs and flowers. Mulch conserves water by slowing the evaporation of moisture from the soil. As mulch decays, it puts organic matter and nutrients back into the soil.
  • Aeration.
  • A core aerator pushes tines into the ground and removes small plugs of soil when the tines pull back out. Aeration helps your lawn by loosening the soil, letting oxygen and water reach the grass roots.
Aeration, not chemicals keep this lawn healthy.
Blue Ridge Lawn Care customer Jack Snyder says that regular aeration is what keeps his lawn healthy. He has never used chemicals on his lawn but aerates every year.
